	Most people keep the amount of free space on / minimal. I did a default
FreeBSD install on a machine, and it did this:

Filesystem  1K-blocks     Used    Avail Capacity  Mounted on
/dev/da0s1a     31743    19641     9563    67%    /
/dev/da0s1f   3929331   982235  2632750    27%    /usr
/dev/da0s1e     29751     2220    25151     8%    /var
