Hello everyone.

I have an interesting problem, which I have never had before. I
installed 4.6-release and the usb keyboard didn't work. It works in the
bios and works with the boot loader to hit enter for boot, but it
doesn't work in the actual operating system. It is detected just fine at
boot time and is assigned device ukbd0. It used to work fine with my
older versions of fbsd including 4.5. I have usbd running at startup
i.e. usbd_enable="YES" in /etc/rc.conf. I even tried to HUP usbd and
that didn't work. I have tried to unplug and plug it back in. It comes
up saying it detects it but no key works. Also I can light on/off the
scroll lock and num lock buttons on the keyboard by pressing the buttons
but still nothing either way.

Has anyone had a similar problem at all? I can't believe the keyboard is
bad because it works just great in the BIOS and in other operating
systems. BTW, the keyboard is a Microsoft internet keyboard pro or
whatever they call the damn thing.

Any help would be great!

Thanks a lot,

-Kyle
