Hello, Sorry to bother you all, but could someone answer a simple question for me. At the moment we have FreeBSD set up as an anonymous FTP server, and now would like the ability to have user FTP accounts. Basically speaking we would like to login to the ftp server as say, ftpuser1, and then be able to FTP files to a pre-defined directory that only ftpuser1 can see, not all anonymous users. Is this possible as reading through the docs I see no mention of using FreeBSD as anything other than an anon server. We also have now installed apache and need to FTP the web pages to it from our windows web authoring program. This again requires us to FTP to another directory than our anon one. Finally how can you stop people uploading to the server, as at the moment you can upload and download from the anon server. Sorry if these questions are answered elsewere. If so a point in the right direction would be great! Steve. Please reply to steve.babb@mcg-graphics.com as it is my work address.
