Hi I use wind2k where I work and want to install FBSD. I tried it and the system was hosed. I want the disk to look more or less like this: 256K: OBSD partition [to be FAT16- for drivers and transfer between the win2k and FBSD] 10G: win2k 9G: FBSD [in the future] Anyway, like I said, the install hosed everything. It's an IDE disk on a recent Dell "business" computer. I have a few questions: -has anyone setup anything like this [win2k/FBSD] -what do you use to manage booting [I was thinking of using bootpart and letting win2k have the MBR] -in what order did you install the OSes? -what other gotchas did you find? Thanks for any tips, pointers, or suggestions. Sorry about the M$-mailer and all, but I don't the list keeps rejecting my mail from when I boot FBSD because sendmail doesn't hide my private domain, and the list thinks it's spam. I just need to find a few minutes to spend with the sendmail documentation to figure this out ... -- \js To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
