[-- Attachment #1 --] I would like to set up a unix OS on this old laptop that is a mitac 486 SX with a 25 mhz intel pentium processor with 4 mb of ram, so I can install apache, perl and a browser and develop CGI programs away from my desk. When the mfsroot disk goes to boot I see it try to run boot/loader and then it states "No boot/loader". The disk starts up properly on my desktop pc so im sure its the laptop. What I'm wondering is should I give up on the laptop? Your input is very much appreciated. Thank You, Todd Wade [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=windows-1252" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.2314.1000" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=2>I would like to set up a unix OS on this old laptop that is a mitac 486 SX with a 25 mhz intel pentium processor with 4 mb of ram, so I can install apache, perl and a browser and develop CGI programs away from my desk.
