[-- Attachment #1 --] diamond agp speedstar A50 / X version 3.3.3 select #194 monitor is good and i choose conservative settings ohh FreeBSD 2.2.8 i love it.....however, suggested server XF_SVGA ...... color dots , blacked out TWM ,dots in windowmaker and afterstep.... rerun xf86config choose XF_16vga (or whatever) everything is good...i want 800 x 600 and 256 colors the card has 8 mb i selected option #6 (other) and entered 8192 is that kosher? how can i kludge this card to get it to work at my desired color choice and resolution the system is a celeron (yak) not overclocked (yet)300a 64 mb pc 100 sdram 9.1 gb ide drive an isa sound card and isa modem ps/2 mouse und der kb is ps/2 too has two active but unused usb ports and a hitachi 4x atapi cdrom ( hey it works just fine) und der 1.44 emergency port !! anyhow i think that this is a Card issue is their anything i can do .....i can't do c or perl but i am getting slick at java ohhh i also tried other SIS6326 chipset card models same stuff can anyone help me ......i do have a isa vga card but then i could only do 16 at 640 x 480 help!!!!!
