[-- Attachment #1 --] Hello I'll try to make this short and sweet and get to the point... I downloaded FreeBSD 3.1 and copyed it to my C:\ in the path C:\freebsd I made the 2 floppies and they worked. I set up a partition with Partition Magic for FreeBSD. but when I try to install the 'bin' part and all the rest, it cannot find my dos partition.....The FreeBSD is a primary partition and the dos partition is also a primary partition. Do I need to put the FreeBSD partition into an extended dos partition? I think this would not work. Any help on partitions and getting the install prog to read dos partitions would be of great help Thanks Chris R [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.2014.210" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=2>Hello</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>I'll try to make this short and sweet and get to the point...</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>I downloaded FreeBSD 3.1 and copyed it to my C:\ in the path C:\freebsd I made the 2 floppies and they worked.
