Hey,
I recompiled the kernel on my laptop with apm and PCMCIA support and =
i have a few questions...
1st.I added apm and the dmesg says Apm bios 1.2 found.. but still when i =
shut down the computer with shutdown -h now.. it doesnt shut the =
computer off..so i have to pushed the forced on/off switch which is a =
little hole on the bottom.. very annoying..please tell me why.
2nd. With Pcmcia support, it says card inserted slot 0... but its a =
modem(one supported in the pccard.conf) and it doesnt seem to assign it =
a cuaa port... which i need to use it with ppp... how do i make it =
assign one.. or know which one it assigned it..=20
