Hello,
I want to take a V.905.56k PCI Datafax Modem for windows (Aztech MDP3880-W)
out of my win98 machine and put it in my FreeBSD box (to ultimately
configure as a Router/gateway to my home network consisting of the win98
machine and a linux machine). I have dialup service.
It seems I can rebuild the kernel to support most devices, but how can I get
a definitive answer about whether this modem will work? Other options
besides buying another modem?
