I'm trying to install FreeBSD 4.0 from CD onto a 30GB maxtor (7200RPM) hard drive. The hard drive is partitioned into 28GB and 2GB.. the 28GB are used by Win98 (FAT32) and the 2GB partition is free.. I'm trying to install FreeBSD onto the 2GB partition, but the install proggie only recognizes the first 2GB which is part of the win98 partition.. is there a kernel feature i have add before it recognizes the large hard drive? or is there something else I need to do before I can install BSD onto the end of the drive like this? Any help would be appreciated.. thanks

Roop
