Amen to that...RedHat absolutely refused to install on my system, so I gave up on it...I didn't hear about FreeBSD until that daemon made it's first appearence on UserFriendly...And I gave it a try, downloading all 300 megs over me poor 56k modem, and from then on, I've never looked back. Oh and i did end up getting 'The Complete FreeBSD'..that tome was held close to me during much of the early days, and still comes in handy for reference.
