Has anyone had any luck getting this printer to print under unix? lexmarks site has no *nix printer drivers for it yet (that I can find). It works perfecty doing this: print to file in windows xfer file cat file > /dev/lpt0 It doesn't handle plain text from what I can tell and I don't know what escape codes need to be sent to it to make it print. I can open notepad and type test and send the resulting file if anyone wants to try thier hand at it :). It doesn't have to print under unix, I'm using the server as a samba/print server actually. Once I get this, I think the printing will work from windows...dunno. any thoughts? TIA, - Daryl Chance | And which parallel universe did ValueData, LLC | YOU crawl out of?
