To whom it may concern,
I am attempting to install FreeBSD (1st time) onto my system. I am using "The Complete FreeBSD" book by Greg Lehey to walk me through the process. Everything was going great until it asked me how I wanted to install FreeBSD on my system. When I selected CD-ROM, it said that no CD-ROM was found (even though I had used a boot CD-ROM to get this far). The book gives several suggestions, and e-mailing you for help is the last option. Well here I am. I have a SCSI CD-ROM (Toshiba XM-6401TA) on SCSI ID#4. Any suggestions as to what I can do to solve this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
