I think someone on the list had this problem before, you might want to search the list. You will probably have to re-compile Apache.

Subject: cgi and perl problems with apache

For some odd reason, apache decided to disallow the use of all cgi and perl scripts. I got the dreaded 500 internal server error. I check out my error_log file and it said
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libiconv.so.1" not found
I checked all the priveleges and whatnot, they were all correct. My apache conf is fine. All these scripts were running just fine until yesterday, when this all happened. I upgraded iconv figuring that would do it....Nope. Now I get:
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libiconv.so.2" not found
I can't figure this out. It somehow sees i upgraded the library, but can't find it?
I'm completely Stumped. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    -Dave
