[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi, I am trying to make tcpdump work across 2 machines, ie trying to monitor a machine's IP packets from another machine. Just typing 'tcpdump host ip2' from the first m/c, say ip1, is not working. However, typing 'tcpdump host ip2' on ip2 works fine. Do I have to configure BSD packet filter to make this work ? I am working on 4.3. Thanks, Anjali [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 5.50.4807.2300" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am trying to make tcpdump work across 2 machines, ie trying to monitor a machine's IP packets from another machine.
