Behind it are two windows machines, 192.168.0.2 and = 192.168.0.3. When transfering between the gateway and either windows = machine, speeds are excruciatingly slow, in the neighborhood of = 80KB/sec. When transferring between the two windows machines i can = reach around 1.5MB/sec. I have an NE2000 compatible card connected to the internet and a Realtek = 8139 based card on the LAN. The LAN is running off a 10BT hub. Here's = a printout of ifconfig: rl0: flags=3D8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 192.168.0.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.0.255 ether 00:48:54:88:62:bd media: 10baseT/UTP status: active supported media: autoselect 100baseTX <full-duplex> 100baseTX = 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex> 10baseT/UTP 100baseTX <hw-loopback> ed0: flags=3D8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 24.115.189.163 netmask 0xfffffe00 broadcast 24.115.189.255 ether 00:00:e8:17:15:36 lo0: flags=3D8049<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 16384 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
