[-- Attachment #1 --] I have a Cyrix 6x86 and was wondering if i could compile a kernel that identifies the cpu correctly. I always thought 6x86 was equivalent to a pentium (aka I586_CPU), but when the kernel loads, it hangs.... (unidentified cpu or something)... Any hints would be appreciated, Thanks, Paul.
