[-- Attachment #1 --] I am sorry to bother you from your daunting dask of coding one of the best OS's out there but I have a issue with quotas which I thought you might be able to shed some light on. I setup group quotas via # edquota -g groupinquestion and instead of setting the quota for every user in the group... ie 20mb each user... it set 20mb for the whole group... I run a webhosting co and to setup a quota for every user would take time as we have to handle approx. 50 logins per day this gets annoying. So if there is a way to set for every user in a easy -g method that would be great... Or even a script to set the quota per user.. I have setup a personalised adduser script for the box which works great. But can't work out how I would do per user... ie # edquota -u username and then the script edit the blocks/inodes (I suck at coding) Thanks in advanced, Ramon Gonzalez whisky@MacroShell.net MacroShell Sysadmin -whisky [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 5.50.4522.1800" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am sorry to bother you from your daunting dask of coding one of the best OS's out there but I have a issue with quotas which I thought you might be able to shed some light on.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I setup group quotas via </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><STRONG># edquota -g groupinquestion</STRONG></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>and instead of setting the quota for every user in the group... ie 20mb each user... it set 20mb for the whole group...
