Dear sirs I am trying to make FreeBSD BOX with 2GB memory + 20GB HDD for my private use. FreeBSD 2.2.8 can use 2GB mem just by rebuilding kernel with options MAXMEM="(2048*1024)" ? Can you post more information ? e.g. your gated.conf file as well as the output of ifconfig -a and netstat -nr before and after the problem. If need be, substitute consistently RFC 1918 addresses for your existing ones (e.g. fxp0 = 192.168.1.1, ed0=10.0.0.1 etc...) ---Mike > > > >Best regards, > Evgeny mailto:Lion@khakassia.ru > > > >To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org >with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message Mike Tancsa (mdtancsa@sentex.net) Sentex Communications Corp, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada "Given enough time, 100 monkeys on 100 routers could setup a national IP network."
