Hello stable, i have cvsup'd and remake my world to 4.4-PRERELEASE and it finished without errors but the problem is when i rebooted my box it didnt recognized my /etc/rc.conf config thus it did not inserted the ipadd thats in there (/etc/rc.conf) here is my rc.conf config: ifconfig_dc0="inet 192.168.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.0" hostname="laguna.i-next.net" saver="daemon" gateway_enable="YES" defaultrouter="192.168.0.1" sshd_program="/usr/sbin/sshd" sshd_enable="YES" when i did ifconfig, it shows that it detected my ethernet card but not in a UP state because it has no ipaddress in there. netstat -rn show no routing table. just blank. i have been tracking stable without errors and this is the first time. i think the error is that my box just dont properly loading the rc.conf files Jett Tayer Systems Administrator http://www.angdatingdaan.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
