Hello all I use a FreeBSD stable box for my gateway/firewall in my game club and i'm very proud of it :). I'm planning to run a server for the game Counter strike and i want to run it on FreeBSD, not Linux. Since it is a Linux binary, i should run it in Linux compatibility. Then here comes my question. Does anybody has any experience with this kind of server? What minimum hardware (in terms of CPU and RAM) will i need (intel platform) in order to run a decent server for about 20 players with some nice stats (Psyhostats) and Apache to display them? So, the only programs that will run on the machine are the game server itself, linux binary compatibility package, log analyzer for the stats and httpd. No X, no other stuff. Any help will be greatly appreciated, since the cost of the hardware here in Bulgaria is quite an expence :( Martin To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
