Greetings, I have 4.0-release installed on a computer. I have put IPV6_ENABLE="NO" in the /etc/rc.conf file. When I do an ifconfig -a on the machine, I see a large number of interfaces defined. Like gif0, gif1, gif2, gif3, stf0, faith0. I thought they would be disabled by the line in /etc/rc.conf ? Must I edit them out of my kernel and recompile ? I don't want to recompile, unless that is the only way. thanks, Darryl To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
