I've got a script executed by cron that runs a dump command: dump -1ua -f /bkup/`date +%y%m`-bkup/incr.`date +%y%m%d`.root.bkup / Which I like, but I'd like dump to send what it normally puts on the console to me via e-mail. i tried adding | mail peter@sysadmin-inc.com but this only sends a blank message. how can i convince it to send the output from the dump program.
