I saw Samba 3.0.2 released a few days ago and wonder if there's any indication as to when it will be in the ports. In the 3.0.2 release notes I see 'Logging onto a Samba domain from Windows XP clients' as one of the addressed bugs. This is exactly the problem I, after two nights of struggling with configuration, find that I suffer from. Joining the XP client to the domain works fine, but logging on to the domain just doesn't work (guest does not have access to IPC$). I hope the waint won't be as long as the time between Samba 3.0.1 release until it showed up in ports. -- Kjell
