I am running FreeBSD 2.2.7 on a Pentium 166 system.
I also run apache server and just hate to type the long
command line needed to launch the server. So I made
a simple batch file called apache and placed it in my /usr/sbin
directory.

When I type echo $PATH and check that /usr/sbin is in my
path, it is. However, when I try to execute apache without
giving the path /usr/sbin/apache I get the error message,
"Command not found".

What gives? I thought the path took care of this.
