[-- Attachment #1 --] hi My freebsd box is attached via UTP to my hub which connects to my Novell server. All the users log in as Novell users. They connect to the internet via the freebsd box. I want the other novell file servers in other buildings which are all connected via fibre optic. The fibre optic is connected to a hub which is connected to the novell file server. I want workstations which log on to the novell server to communicate with the freebsd box in another building. When I ping the freebsd box from a workstation in another building, configured with IP address, it " requests time out".
