Reading through thhe /etc/defaults/rc.conf file, I see this: local_startup="/usr/local/etc/rc.d Is it "standard practice" to use that, and drop all startup scripts that come with applications inside that dir, or do I just add those little startup scripts directly to /etc/rc.conf? This really isn't a big deal, I suppose I could do either, but I'd like to keep to a "standard practice". -dt To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
