Hello all, This might be a dumb question, but I am new to FreeBSD and can't figure it out. I got Freebsd 4.1 installed on my soon-to-be firewall. Everything seems ok. Problem is, when I try to make a new kernel I edit the MYKERNEL config file, do /usr/sbin/config MYKERNEL cd ../../compile/MYKERNEL make depend Make depend always fails saying: don't know how to make ../../kern/genassym.sh Am I missing something or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim I. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
