Hi!
Ok, after some serious frustration, I got 2.2.7 installed ( had to switch CD-ROM drive's cause my 32x wasn't compatible ). I installed using the "X User" setting. I configured X Windows like it told me to. So after all that I finally get to UNIX. I type in "startx" and I get this mumbo jumbo...
# startx
execve failed for /usr/X11R6/bin/X (errno 2)
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
giving up.
xinit: Interrupted system call (errno 4): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
#
Hmm....first what does this mean? Second, how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance,
Wanna-be UNIX guy =op
