I've always wondered why whoever it was that developed VI had to make
it so obtuse ... maybe there is a logical reason but thankfully the default
FreeBSD
includes the infinitely more user-friendly ee. I'm doing a bit on Open BSD
at present
& it doesn't have ee, so looks like I'll need to figure out some basic VI
commands
