[-- Attachment #1 --] I am running freebsd 4.2 and still very much a newbe to this whole thing . I am running kde 2.0 In the k menu I have at least 4 of every Dir. and 4 of every file. An example is ... 4 find files 4 home Dir. only 1 games 1 office.. if you go to the sub nav you get 4 of every thing but just for fun there is the random file or app with only 1 entry with no real difference that I can discover. So do I reinstall or is there a file some where that I am not finding. All of my resident UNIX guru's have not been able to help on this one. Thanx in advance Dan AKA Walt Dezne [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2462.0" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><FONT face=Arial size=2> <P>I am running freebsd 4.2 and still very much a newbe to this whole thing .</FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3> </FONT></P><FONT face=Arial size=2> <P>I am running kde 2.0 </P> <P>In the k menu I have at least 4 of every Dir. and 4 of every file. </P> <P>An example is ... 4 find files 4 home Dir. only 1 games 1 office.. if you go to the sub nav you get 4 of every thing but just for fun there is the random file or app with only 1 entry with no real difference that I can discover</FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>. </FONT></P> <P>So do I reinstall or is there a file some where that I am not finding.
