I am trying to build a FreeBSD sparc64 kernel on an i386 box running FreeBSD 4.5 Release. I have downloaded the toolchain from http://people.freebsd.org/~jake/sparc64-toolchain-releng4.tar.bz2 and installed it. I have also checked out the latest source code. I installed four sys/conf/xxx.sparc64 files to /sys/conf. When I do "config GEENRIC", I get: "config: line 24: Unknown machine type". Do I need a special config binary or have I missed something?
