Hi mls (mailing list subscribers)
I am looking for some texts and programs for performance tuning my =
system and network.
=20
I know these programs:
The system: top, ps, =
vmstat (more?)
Users: w, who, =
users, watcher (more programs to see what your users are doing and how =
many resources they are using, fx the traffic to their website)
Programs: gdb (more =
programs to monitor a program, to see what it does)
Network (connections): =
netstat, sockstat, fstat
=20
Can you get cachestat and fuser for FreeBSD?
I have read the FreeBSD handbook on configuring the kernel, but do you =
know any other system/network tuning texts?
=20
