In light of recent postings that the Wavelan PCI slot PCMCIA adapter may be
working now, I'm trying to get one to work.

I'm using sources from 6/14/2001 and the system board is an Intel CA810EA
(no ISA slots.)

Here is the relevant text from dmesg:

pcic-pci0: <TI PCI-1410 PCI-CardBus Bridge> at device 11.0 on pci1
pcic-pci0: TI12XX PCI Config Reg: [pwr save][CSC parallel isa irq]
:
pcic0: <VLSI 82C146> at port 0x3e0 iomem 0xd0000 on isa0
pcic0: Polling mode
pccard0: <PC Card bus -- kludge version> on pcic0
pccard1: <PC Card bus -- kludge version> on pcic0
:
pccard: card inserted, slot 0
pccard: card inserted, slot 1
wi0: <WaveLAN/IEEE 802.11> at port 0x240-0x27f irq 3 slot 0 on pccard0
wi0: Ethernet address: 00:60:1d:f1:17:e7

The wicontrol utility works correctly and I'm able to associate with the
network.

After configuring the Wavelan card with ifconfig, I'll receive this message
(and be unable to ping anything over the network):

wi0: watchdog timeout

I've tried various irq's in pccard.conf and placing the PCI card in
different slots with no improvement.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated!
