WooHoo, that it was it.

Now that I have a working keyboard/mouse I've managed to mess up 
the 1st hard drive.  When I got to the fdisk section I chose use 
the entire drive which blew away the EFI(sp?) partition.  Now I 
can't boot at all. :-(  Oh well, I can probably fix that problem.  
Guess you need to leave that partition, eh?
