I intend to use SuperMicro's motherboard that had integrated with Adaptec's AIC-7892 SCSI Controller, But SuperMicro's engineer told me that their motherboards didn't support FreeBSD because of Adaptec AIC-7892/AIC-7899 SCSI Controller. Could you tell me which's version will support this SCSI controller? Is it V4.1 or V4.1.1? I am wondering. Any help will be appreciated.
