If the user hot plugs new drives to the SCSI controller,how to make the scsi subsystem scan, the scsi bus for new drives attached & the OS to use those drives ? for example in linux, a user can echo "scsi add-single-device %d %d %d %d" to proc/scsi to scan for new drives attached.
