Recentlyish (gnome 40/41?) the locking/screenblanking/screen-off behavior has been wonky/broken. Specifically the hotkey "Super-L" no longer locks, but timeout works, as does the menu item to lock immediately from the menu on the upper right. When it DOES lock (timeout of manual) it does not power-off the screen. Setting manual off via 'xset dpms' does work, so X is working correctly. Help?
