I doubt anyone will work on that.  Not sure if it even was supported in
Broadcom's smac driver in Linux?

Swap it for another supportted and known working card and use the
Laptop?

Otherwise https://github.com/pgj/freebsd-wifibox might be the best
solution; not sure which drivers the wifibox-brcm package supports.
