sorry! unfortunately was maybe the wrong word. i don't want switch to 
any other theme than the default. it was only for testing and just for
info.
as you have written i've tried to change with the gconf-editor to
crux_teal but it doesn't work. anyway ... i'm happy now. i know that
i've installed unstable ports but i like the new fatures like the
show-desktop-applet. 

the fonts looks pretty now even with xinerama but there still some
problems. i'm more an more convinced of it that this is an
matrox-g550-driver-problem. i'm not shure. but i think i've read
something similar at groups.google.com and that was also a 
g550.
