It can be an amazing pain getting Oracle to work on FreeBSD .. The only way I've ever heard of anyone getting it to work is to install it on a Linux box, then copy all the files over to FreeBSD, then use Linux emulation to run it .. Even this is a bit too dodgy for me .. IMO, better to stick with DB2 or PGSQL on FreeBSD. -- Adam <blueeskimo@gmx.net>
