Are you launching Mozilla out of the port working dir, or from /usr/X11R6/bin? If the latter, then the libmozjs.so file should be in /usr/X11R6/lib/mozilla directory. In this case, the mozilla script sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH such that this object can be found. If you're running it from the port working dir, and there is no /usr/X11R6/lib/mozilla/libmozjs.so, then the it will most likely fail.
