I'm looking for a way to entirely remove an MTA from a box and forward everything to another host. I've found the /etc/mail/aliases file and saw that I could configure it so that root would point to something else, so that's half the battle, possibly. Once that's done, however, is it simply a matter of setting sendmail_enable="NONE" in /etc/rc.conf to disable sendmail, or is there more I could/should do, to still keep having the cron job outputs sent to the place I'd specify in /etc/mail/aliases? I mostly don't want the daemon running, but still want access to my email. Thanks!
