That's a 50% speed increase. I haven't noticed any speedup on DVD playback from these flags. What helped me immensely was moving to xorg-server-snap, which can do DMA'ed xv feeding on radeon driver. That cut down CPU usage inside xorg from 30% to 5% on DVD playback with mplayer ... --=20 Pav Lucistnik <pav@oook.cz> <pav@FreeBSD.org> Stupidity got us into this mess -- why can't it get us out? --=-3tdm74bcYMH8vIJ/DOVx Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBCkG5pntdYP8FOsoIRAobIAJ46J8ovs6b0xdcNz06rziRHNfRrBwCgnsad jkuTeen92scc93nEyD89wZY= =ks1w -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-3tdm74bcYMH8vIJ/DOVx--
