Hi, I have FreeBSD 5.4 installed on a laptop running KDE - I've managed to get the audio working but the volume is very low and I'm not able to increase it at all .I'm using the driver below ( snd_ich ) : root@jish# cat /dev/sndstat FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Installed devices: pcm0: <SiS 7012> at io 0x1400, 0x1c80 irq 18 bufsz 16384 (1p/1r/4v channels duplex default) pcm0: <SiS 7012> port 0x1c80-0x1cff,0x1400-0x14ff irq 18 at device 2.7 on pci0 pcm0: <Unknown AC97 Codec (id = 0x414c4770)> Any ideas on what the problem could be and how I can fix it ? Jimmy.
