I sent an email to Scott Flatman <sf@dsinw.com> over a week ago regarding the math/maxima port issue and have recieved no response, he could be on vacation or something. In the meantime a new pre-release of Maxima has just been rolled out (5.9.0r4). I'm not sure what I should do at this point. Maybe 5.9.0r3 can debut as math/maxima-devel and postpone any decisions regarding math/maxima until 5.9.0 release? Once this limbo is over I'm willing to update the port to 5.9.0r4 and beyond. I just don't want to waste my time... --judd > Synopsis: New port: math/maxima -- symbolic computer algebra system > > State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback > State-Changed-By: edwin > State-Changed-When: Sun Jan 19 23:38:18 PST 2003 > State-Changed-Why: > Hi, > > Right now math/maxima is at version 5.6 in the ports collection > with Scott Flatman <sf@dsinw.com> as maintainer.
