Upong booting my machine i noticed ntp running 2 processes.
root 456 0.0 0.1 2952 1396 ?? Ss 4:30AM
0:00.50 /usr/sbin/ntpd -c /etc/ntp.conf -p /var/run/
root 803 0.0 0.1 2952 1404 ?? S 4:31AM
0:00.01 /usr/sbin/ntpd -c /etc/ntp.conf -p /var/run/
