I wonder if this is a XE issue or would it work with 9.2 or is it a new
linux_base issue?

I run 9.2 at work, on the old linux base_8, lsnrctl & editing from
SQLPlus work. I think I will have to wait unit this is resolved before
I upgrade my server at work.
