Sorry for the seemingly dumb question, but is there a problem with precompiled packages for FreeBSD 6 (packages-6-stable) being mirrored on the FTP servers? About two weeks ago I noticed that the databases/mysql50-server package disappeared from the directory in which I usually find it: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-6-stable/databases/ I thought "ok, maybe there was a build problem." However, that directory doesn't contain any packages with timestamps later than 24 January. Looking at Pointyhat error logs, I see this: Packages from last full run on 6-current [i386 (2006-02-05 15:09)]... Packages from latest run on 6-current [i386 (2006-02-10 22:58)]... Sure enough, I can find the MySQL package here: http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/errorlogs/i386-6-packages-full/databases/mysql= -server-5.0.18.tbz and here: http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/errorlogs/i386-6-packages-latest/databases/mys= ql-server-5.0.18.tbz If the newest packages date from yesterday, where are they on the main FTP server? The only place that seems to have the latest packages-6-stable packages (including the MySQL one I referenced above) is ftp2.freebsd.org. Thank you, Richard
