Hi After one of recent upgrades (no more then two month ago) native gnome players stop to play sounds. They looks exactly as should, but no any sounds ... It is ok with mixer settings. And even more, esd-based programs still play sounds without problems (esdplay, xmms, mplayer, vlc, etc). I am puzzled ? what may be wrong with it ? % cat /dev/sndstat FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm: 32bit 2007061600/i386) Installed devices: pcm0: <Intel 82801G High Definition Audio Controller> at memory 0xee400000 irq 17 kld snd_hda [20080420_0052] [MPSAFE] (1p:2v/1r:1v channels duplex default) % -- Vladimir B.
